Oh God, One Piece opening, what's wrong with you? You were new! You had potential!! I'm not the only one who despises this song right?

So, like, saw this opening a few days ago, and I immediately wished that "Share the World" was still playing. Because "Share the World" is bitchin'. I don't even know what this new thing is.

Don't get me wrong, the animation is FANTASTIC. DAMN. But the song they used, if you can even call if music, didn't match it all. There really wasn't a beat, I couldn't get into it, there was no hook, no rhyme or reason to how it was put together, it was just BLAH.

Oh sure, sure ... I'm bein' a bitch. And maybe I am. BUUUUUT~ That's no excuse. I'm waiting for people to start beating me down with comments like, "I like it~! It's cool!!" or "You're a do-do head!" Hahahaaaaaa~ Ohhhhhh. No, it's totally fine if you guys like it, I'm just rather surprised by ... how un-One Piece it is.

"We Are" got OP, but that was a given. "Kokoro No Chizu" was AWESOME. And you all know I liked "Share the World" by now ... I'm sorry new OP opening, you have failed me. OTL

...... I even decided to re-watch it as I type this to check if I still didn't like it annnnd ... I still don't like it.

She is, without a doubt, one of my favorite artists~ Her style is gorgeous, and the way she works with colors is like BAM~! Blowing my mind away. If you like Saiyuki fanart, especially 39, then you'll enjoy Saru's stuff. Hell, if you like art at ALL then you'll enjoy her stuff.

Not only is she a terrific artist, but she's such a sweetheart. I love her to death~
